Ashes to Ashes eBook is Now Live on Amazon!

Hello, everyone!

Book #2, Ashes to Ashes, is now available on Amazon! The eBook is listed at just .99 cents, for a limited time, and paperback at $7.99. A little secret: I haven’t gone in to bump up the price of Cold November Rain from its promotional price of just .99 cents just yet. So if you haven’t done so, you have less than twenty four hours to get it before the price goes up!

Ashes to Ashes is really the prequel to Cold November Rain. But when I thought over the way I wanted readers to enjoy Charlotte’s saga, I just had to start with Cold November Rain as book #1. There were twists and turns I could play around with that I couldn’t have done had I written them in actual chronological order.

So the caveat here is that Ashes to Ashes does not deliver any kind of happily ever after. (Fear not, however! Book #3, His Promises Kept, is right around the corner!  There will be no cliffhanger with an agonizing yearlong wait! It is set to be released in December!)

Ashes to Ashes is the story of a love turned tragic. But I firmly believe that hearts will be warmed nonetheless. Sometimes love goes beyond a happy smile, as Charlotte appreciated in Cold November Rain, with her new love interest, Emmett. Sometimes, a love is forged from chemistry that cannot be defined. It’s like when you’re all alone but have that sense that someone is watching you. You know it to be true to the marrow of your bones, yet you have no tangible proof. It defies explanation but is real nonetheless. This is Char and Ash.

Charlotte and Ash’s connection was immediate, yet in their own ways, they tried to deny it. But with a connection so strong, they eventually stopped fighting each other, and fought for their love. They defied all odds to be together, but in the end, there was one thing they both held back from each other. That one thing could have changed the outcome of that fateful day that’s been seared into their nightmares.

But is their story really over? After reading Ashes to Ashes, you’ll have to decide for yourselves.

Until we read again,

Ashes to Ashes is book #2 and it will be released this fall! I am giving my Amazon followers a sneak-peek at my Ashes to Ashes book trailer. Find it on my Author Page for a limited time! Also, please note that Cold November Rain’s special kindle pricing of .99 cents will end upon the book release of Ashes to Ashes, so buy now!

Ashes to Ashes goes back in time and delves deeply into Charlotte and Ash’s relationship from the very beginning. Their relationship was always complicated, but when two hearts are meant to be together, little can stand in the way. But their foes were many and from reader feedback, Char’s mom, Pam, is a love-to-hate character. Well, rest assured, she has plenty to say in Ashes to Ashes, much to Char’s chagrin! And lastly, there will be answers to the mystery in Cold November Rain surrounding Char’s attack.

While Ashes to Ashes doesn’t have a happy ending and touches on Charlotte’s darkest days, I promise it doesn’t go too dark. Most importantly, it sheds light on the curiosity piqued in Cold November Rain, as we watched Charlotte’s attempt at picking up the pieces and moving on with Emmett, much to Ash’s consternation!

And that was her attempt, but, there is still so much more to the story, hence, book #3, His Promises Kept. It will be released in November! The complications continue but ultimately the promises of love prevail. The question remains, whose promises are they?

Until we read again,

About Nicole Warren

Nicole Warren resides in the lush Pacific Northwest with her husband, two teenagers, and two dogs. Nicole has spent most of the past 18 years as a stay-at-home mom and during that time managed to get her B.A., graduating cum laude.

Stories have been clamoring to get out of Nicole’s imagination and on to paper for years. But after her experience of completing her degree with young children at home she thought better of trying to juggle raising her kids and writing a novel at the same time.

Now that her kids are older the timing finally seemed right this past year and so Nicole began working on Cold November Rain winter of 2014. She is working diligently on having her novel ready for her self-published release this coming spring 2015.
